Industrial and Infrastructure Inspections

Using drones to inspect and monitor various types of infrastructure, including bridges, buildings, power lines, pipelines, and other critical assets is a safer, more efficient way to detect current and developing issues during inspections. Equipped with visible and thermal ultra-zoom cameras, high-resolution still cameras, and multispectral sensors, robots can capture high-resolution images, video footage, and other data remotely, safely away from radiation or fall hazards.

Drones can access hard-to-reach areas, cover larger areas in a shorter time, and provide detailed and accurate data. They can also reduce the need for human inspectors to work at heights or in hazardous environments, improving safety and reducing costs.

What Does the Inspection Process Look Like?

Inspection

Drones equipped with specialized sensors and cameras can capture data that is not visible to the naked eye, such as thermal images, which can be used to detect structural defects, leaks, or areas of high heat.

Data Analysis

After the inspection is complete, the data collected by the drone is analyzed. This can involve reviewing images and video footage, as well as using specialized software to analyze the data and identify areas of concern.

Reporting

The final step is to prepare a report detailing the findings of the inspection. This report may include images and video footage captured by the drone, as well as an analysis of the data collected.
